• Identify: Identify resources uniquely by Identifier and Title.

• Browse and Search: Browse and search resources by Audience, Category, Contributor, Creator, Family, Format, Genre, Language, Platform, Publisher, Subject, and Type.

• Sort/Filter/Limit: Sort, filter, and limit searches for resources by Date Created, Date Issued, Date Modified, and Extent.

• Provide contextual information about resources and related resources: The element set also provides other information and context about resources including Alternative Title, Description, Has Part, Has Version, Is Part Of, Is Referenced By, Is Version Of, Provenance, Relation, Rights, and Source.
