This portfolio—in addition to providing a personal introduction—will also showcase examples of professional caliber projects.  These are samples of coursework which have been chosen for their very high quality and for alignment to and demonstration of Program Learning Outcomes (PLOs).

PLOs represent the goals and expectations of the overall curriculum for the degree of Master of Library and Information Science (MLIS) developed by the faculty of the School of Information at Kent State University.  Those who work toward and attain the MLIS degree are expected to have demonstrated mastery of the PLOs.
