In this proposed framework based on CCO, the Work Record represents the contra dance itself (in this case "Delphiniums and Daisies") as a concept manifested in notation from a vocabulary used to describe particular formations and figures executed by certain dance roles in an established linear order or sequence.  As a cultural object, it has supremacy as a singular and unique creation in the cataloging structure.  From the dance as a cultural work of written instructions, performances of that dance will occur, and through recordings and images (media), that occurrence will be documented.  Images derived from that media documentation (views) are the source of these View Records, described below.  This framework essentially takes an entity relationship model in which one work/object (the written instructions of the dance) will relate to many occurrences of performances (see Event Records), each performance of which will relate to multiple methods of documentation (Media Records), which will then relate to multiple views (View Record examples seen here).
