"In CCO, a work is a distinct intellectual or artistic creation limited primarily to objects and structures made by humans, including built works, visual art works, and cultural artifacts." (Baca, et al., 2006)

What could it look like for intangible cultural heritage?

Description: Contemporary contra dance composed in honor of the 20th wedding anniversary of the choreographer’s parents, recognizing the flowers in her mother’s wedding bouquet. Beginning to intermediate difficulty. Creator-Statement: I wrote this dance and couldn't get it to work out. A few years later in 1985, I tried again, and this time it came out great. I dedicated the dance to my parents’ 20th wedding anniversary. The flowers they had at their wedding were delphiniums and daisies, which explains the name. I started working on this dance again when my father wanted to start calling contras and asked me for a dance which was easy enough for beginners, but not boring for more experienced dancers. I couldn't find any in my repertoire, so I dragged this one back out and fixed it up for him.
